I don't know about anyone else, but I adore the new Alice in Wonderland mini-trend which seems to be appearing in so many stores and collections. Inspired, obviously, by the release of the new Tim Burton adaptation, we're seeing a lot of cute shirts with playing card prints or skirts patterned with little teapots etc. I think they're all adorable! A collection I particularly like was shown at London Fashion Week, by Temperley. I'm a great lover of Temperley in general (to die for dresses), but her Alice inspired garments are so sweet! Here are a few of my favourite looks:
I love the grungy edge of these looks for Fall, but for now, I think I'll be lightening the look up a little by introducing some cobalt blue and a lot more white to make it more spring friendly! I am very excited to see more of this trend appearing in stores! It has to be said that I am a very big Disney fan, so I cannot help but be overly enthusiastic when something like this comes along!
Here are a few outfit shots of what I wore to go shopping yesterday.
Birmingham was suprisingly nice and very good for shopping! I bought some lovely new things which I will be showcasing on here soon, so stay tuned for that! I apologise for the poor image quality - I forgot to put my memory card in my camera (brain fart!) and so my boyfriend had to take pictures with his Blackberry. Better pictures tomorrow, promise!
