suddenly it's springtime...

I'm feeling much better today after a rather rubbish weekend, and I ventured out for a look around the stores today after Uni. There are so many lovely things around at the moment and the nice weather just makes me want to live in dresses and sandals! Here are a few of my favourite dresses at the moment which I'm kind of hoping will end up in my closet:

All of them are from Topshop; I sense a possible addiction on the cards! I love the lace and florals, but the last one is my favourite. The pretty lilac colour works so well with the floaty, ethereal feel of the dress and it reminds me of something I would have loved to have worn when I was a little girl.

So as I'm sure everyone knows, the Oscars was last night and some of the gowns were incredible. Here are my favourite three:

I realise a lot of people have criticised SJP's choice, but as soon as I saw her in this I was bowled over - I don't know what it is about it and looking at it, I know it shouldn't work, but I just love it; the colour, the sash and the silver embroidering -  lovely! Demi Moore's choice of nude Versace was also a winner in my book, and Cameron Diaz looked like an old school Hollywood starlet, which I loved.
