So I finally went to see Alice in Wonderland (sadly not in 3D) and it was brilliant! I loved Johnny Depp in this movie and I really enjoyed Mia Wasikowska's performance as Alice, too - not to mention the stunning dresses she wore! I'm hoping to see it in 3D at some point over the next few weeks, but I was glad to finally get the chance to see it at all - it was full when we tried to see it last Friday.
I recently discovered a designer whose clothes I'm really growing to love - her name is Louise Amstrup and some of her stuff is just amazing. Here are my favourites from her AW10 collection:
I adore the gauzy fabric she's used so much in this collection. My favourite pieces are probably the black baggy pants and shirt (outfit 10) and the entire 6th outfit - the shapes and minimalism are so striking. However, her clothes are pretty difficult to get hold of in the UK, not to mention pricey, so I am resigned to the fact that her collection will have to remain on my wishlist. Le sigh.
Here's what I wore today:
Clearly Andy was oblivious to the random lurker in the last shot! It's occurred to me that my pictures seem to be showing up a lot smaller than everybody elses - I'm not entirely sure why this is, but it would be great if somebody could tell me how to rectify this! Anyway, hope everybody has had a great Wednesday, and I'll catch you all later.

Ooooh, lovely designs! And you look fab in them. Check out one of the clients on our, SARD - a Spanish label that does very simple and chic clothes! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAlso re image sizes, when you put them in the posting bit there should be an option bar at the bottom which lets you chose the size and the alignment of the picture...
Hope that helps! Check out our blog for the latest on fashion and our clients: http://405communications.blogspot.com

Oh, and I think you can make the pictures larger, just by dragging their sides, once they are in your post. This of course requires that they are large in reality so the don't get all pixelly.(:
ReplyDeleteI don't know if that was what you were looking for, but I hope it helps!
