A collection that I really loved when I first caught a glimpse of the catwalk shots is Miu Miu AW10. Miuccia's new line is clearly inspired by the 60s and I love everything - the splashes of bright yellow and purple against the mostly black backdrop really makes the shapes and styles pop. The juxtaposition of the modesty-concealing high necklines with the more risqué cut outs seen on other pieces is what originally caught my eye, but the collection is very visually appealing on the whole. The entire line is very feminine, with pinafore dresses and floppy bows dominating the catwalk. I think everything is very wearable: nothing is too outlandish and the dresses are pieces which I could see on your everyday blogger! A touch of wishful thinking there on my part... I'm also happy with the reappearance of lace! Lace has been one of my favourite things to wear of late and I'm glad that it won't be disappearing any time soon. I love the shape of the skirts shown here and any collection that features faux furs is always going to be a hit with me.
Nothing groundbreaking, just a remix of things you've seen me in already - except the lace shirt which is new!
