to light the night, to help us grow...

Bonjour lovelies! I realise that I promised you a post before the weekend just gone, but I had a big groupwork assignment (or "the-assignment-from-hell", as I have renamed it) due in so that kind of ate up all of my free time... However, here are a few shots of what I wore today.

It's been such a beautiful day here - my boyfriend and I went for a walk through our local park and literally everybody seems to be out having a barbeque or playing frisbee or doing other summery activities! I love this time of year, it seems to put people in such a good mood. My boyfriend had his last exam today and I am extremely jealous, as I still have two left before I can really start to enjoy the summery goodness. That aside, I'm in a pretty good mood today as my new camera arrived. It has to be said that while I can appreciate a nice photograph, I have absolutely no clue what I am doing with this camera, so have taken my outfit pictures for today on my old Canon - just until I can figure out what the hell I'm doing with this big scary looking piece of equipment that is my new camera!

It was refreshing to wear a skirt and not freeze to death while I was out! I love the nude colour of this skirt and the fabric and fit mean it'll go with pretty much anything. The little floral underpiece was something I picked up in Birmingham about three months ago, but we've only just got the weather for me to be able to give it an airing! I'm looking forward to more warm, balmy days so that I can showcase some of my new things - I'm definitely craving chiffon and other lightweight fabrics now, not to mention pastel colours and sandals!
