Another week has gone by without a post from me. How disgraceful! I have been so bogged down with work lately that I haven't really had time to do anything else. Thus, my outfits have not been particularly exciting or worthy of documenting. However, as of today I am officially free for the next five weeks - I can hardly believe it! This week has been so crammed full of tests and homework and assignments that it feels surreal to have no looming deadlines or tests for the next few weeks.
So today has been pretty low-key and I haven't done anything exciting. I had an early lecture this morning and then met my fiancé in town for coffee and a browse around the stores. I bought my sister's birthday present (I won't say what, as I know she reads this blog) and then stuffed myself with yummy chicken salad, so I am now sat here, packed to exploding point and watching The Notebook.
A couple of cute things which are on my wishlist (and will, sadly, probably remain there due to lack of an infinite bank account...) are these lovely earrings and ring by Roberto Cavalli. I'm not usually an avid fan of his collections, but these are just so adorable and would look lovely with florals and chiffons, which I am longing for in a big way right now!
Cute, no? I can see them with a simple white summer dress or other various girly outfits. I love the romance of these pieces. I think they're timeless and something I would definitely wear for years.
An outfit which I loved this week was the Christopher Kane dress which Emma Watson was pictured in. From the AW10 collection, this was a piece that I loved on the runway and adore even more after seeing it on the beautiful Emma.
I love the contrast of the soft lace and pretty florals with the leather and the bra structure. I am in love with this dress! I am also really growing to appreciate Emma Watson's sense of style, she's really started to come into her own and has been pictured in some beautiful clothes recently.
Anyhow, here's the outfit post for the day:
